Male Models are in Danger!

Wow, women are definitely taking over the modeling world for sure. Women models get paid WAY MORE then male models! Women models are banking in millions of dollars from hosting television shows and being apart of multi-billion dollar lingerie companies. Now a day "the most successful male models earn in the mid-six figure range, maxing out around $500,000 a year."[Lauren Streib of FORBES] The pay for a High-end catalog photo shoot on the average is between $8,000-$15,000 per day and which most likely last one day.
I guess male models really have to step their game up? Well, not that just more men need to shop more. The more men shop, then the more there is a need for men's fashion magazines which allows more male models to work. Not only that but magazine's like GQ needs to stop using so many celebrities. I know celebrities sales current trends, but at the end of the day it's leaving models on the back burner. "Since 2000, just one male model was on the cover of GQ. Female models were on seven covers, and male celebrities were on over 70 covers."[http://www.forbes.com] Come on! ONE MALE MODEL SINCE 2000! Wow, talk about a down fall. But anyways, that is why there are magazine's like "Numéro Homme, i-D, and VMan" just to name a few but not limited to. That, I really do respect and like because they have not yet went with the celebrity trend. Do not get me wrong, I would love to be on GQ, but what I am saying is that male models needs more jobs so we can survive better, so we could be on FORBES up there with Gisele Bündchen.

Well, down below are just a few male models that are ranked as 1 & 2 on FORBES "The World's Most Successful Male Models" list. There are more. I just wanted to give you a idea.

This list is based on advertising campaigns, editorial work and runway experience over the last two seasons...
